Business Architect - Wealth / Asset Management 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Charlotte, NC • Hybrid work This is a hybrid role (not eligible for 100% remote work). We are seeking an experienced Business Architect to join our Charlotte team to help expand our Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance capability. In this role, you will work across multiple disciplines and have extensive experience in the financial services industry to reference and draw upon. You will demonstrate leadership and flexibility, as well as build rapport with clients, fellow Slalom team members, and senior executives. You must be able to deftly apply skills and methodologies to lead others, proactively mitigate any risks, and resolve issues when appropriate. What You'll Do Lead projects for our Banking, Financial Services and Insurance capability, ensuring coordination of shared resources, common activities, and other dependencies across projects Participate in business development initiatives including the expansion of existing projects, responding to RFP responses, client presentations, and executing Statements of Work (SOW) Lead by example, and enables others, to deliver and manage complex, multi-disciplinary teams providing transformational solutions to clients Maintain the client relationship and keep the client and stakeholders engaged in the project (i.e. status reporting, issues management and risk management) What You'll Bring Consulting expertise in the financial services industry, specifically with multi-national tier 1 banks and/or insurers in one or more of the following industries: Retail or Commercial Banking, Wealth Management, Asset Management or Investment Management, General/Life Insurance providers, or related data/service providers or aggregators Experience implementing large, multi-year complex change and leading teams of 15+ people across multiple disciplines Program management experience, working and delivering projects in an Agile environment, on one or more of the following types of digital transformation engagements: platform implementations and integrations, CRM, cloud migrations and transformations, software engineering, data transformation including data and analytics Demonstrated experience in all phases of a Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Demonstrated experience in all phases of the non-technology project lifecycle including the identification of the business process, business case, and project plan development Passion for enabling and encouraging others to develop diverse thoughts and perspectives, helping others navigate challenging situations by supporting them in articulating their obstacles (e.g. assumptions, beliefs and emotions) About Us Slalom is a fiercely human business and technology consulting company that leads with outcomes to bring more value, in all ways, always.
