Overview:
The Mill Machine Operator plays a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, utilizing advanced 5-axis milling machines to produce intricate and high-precision components. This position requires expertise in CNC programming, setup, and operation to ensure the quality and efficiency of our production processes.C Shift:
Friday- Sunday 6:00AM-6:00PM (Paid for 40 hours)Key Responsibilities:
Program, set up, and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines to fabricate complex components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Monitor machine performance and adjust cutting parameters as necessary to optimize production efficiency and maintain dimensional accuracy. Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications. Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, ensuring continuous process improvement. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CNC machinist or mill operator with expertise in 5-axis machining. Strong technical knowledge of 5-axis CNC programming, tooling, and machining practices. Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and geometric tolerances (GD&T). Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC machining is preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in CNC milling with a focus on 5-axis machines.What We Offer:
