We are looking for a detail orientated and personable applicant to fill an entry level recruiting position in our Human Resources department.Position Purpose:
The HR Representative/Recruiting Specialist is responsible for performing recruiting functions to ensure that well-qualified candidates are available for position openings. This role involves providing new and creative recruiting ideas to enhance the recruiting model. Duties include but are not limited to: Conducting phone screenings and evaluating applicant information. Setting up first interviews with qualified applicants. Updating information regarding applicants in the Applications database. Sending and receiving applicant packets. Tracking applicant files/logs to ensure accurate and complete information. Serving as a backup for Employee Orientations. Providing improvement suggestions for employee On-boarding.Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
Execute recruiting functions to attract well-qualified candidates for open positions. Propose innovative recruiting strategies to enhance the hiring process.Screening and Interviewing:
Conduct initial phone screenings, evaluate applicant credentials, and coordinate first interviews with potential candidates.Database Management:
Maintain and update the Applications database with accurate applicant information.Applicant Tracking:
Manage and track applicant files and logs to ensure completeness and accuracy.Onboarding Support:
Assist in Employee Orientations and suggest improvements for the On-boarding process.Qualifications:
Some experience in HR, recruiting, or related fields. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and databases. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Well organized. Accurate and attentive to detail. Self-starter.Benefits:
