JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
We are looking to add a Field Service Technician PM to our team of experienced and talented team. As an Ohio CAT Field Service Technician PM you will perform preventative maintenance (PMs) crucial to keeping equipment running, in the field, on Caterpillar and other manufacturer equipment. Other objectives in this position will be to perform minor repairs such as tightening clamps, replacing o-rings, changing lights, etc; collect and process oil and fluid samples for testing and diagnosis. This position requires flexibility in daily schedule and from time to time starting and finishing times will vary. In a Field Serviceman PM position, you will have the satisfaction of contributing to building the world around you!
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Have a thorough understanding of heavy equipment, and preventative maintenance procedures, and be able to perform minor repairs. Valid Commercial Driver's License, with Tanker endorsement, with an acceptable driving record in accordance with Ohio CAT standards Knowledge of Caterpillar or other OEM natural gas engines Should have mechanical aptitude, and experience with construction or power equipment is preferred. Must have the ability to follow technical material and apply processes and procedures as necessary to complete repairs and manufacturers' updates, as required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Lifting/Carrying 40 lb. Lift/Carry and 50lb pulling Standing/Sitting Up and down stairs, standing, sitting and climbing into machines Dexterity Normal Repetitive Motions Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists and fingers The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
