Accounts Payable Coordinator Roessel Joy Boston, MA 02108 • Hybrid work Overview This role is essential in managing the company's financial obligations and ensuring that all accounts payable transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Duties Process accounts payable transactions, including invoices, expense reports, and payment requests. Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies. Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data. Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable. Collaborate with internal departments such as human resources and corporate accounting to resolve discrepancies. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information related to accounts payable. Stay updated on governmental accounting regulations and best practices. Experience Proficiency in double entry bookkeeping and understanding of debits and credits. Experience in corporate accounting or governmental accounting is preferred. Familiarity with accounts receivable processes is a plus. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively. Previous experience using accounting software, particularly Sage or Paychex, is advantageous. Knowledge of human resources processes may be beneficial for collaboration purposes. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. #AFPM456
