This position focuses on servicing and repairing electric and propane-powered polishing and floor surface prep equipment—primarily grinders and vacuums.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair small engine and industrial flooring equipment. Troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical systems. Disassemble, reassemble, and test equipment to ensure top performance. Replace worn or faulty parts and calibrate machines. Maintain repair logs including parts, labor, and service history. Recommend preventative maintenance and equipment upgrades when appropriate.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required. Previous hands-on experience as an equipment repair technician or similar role. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with grinders, vacuums, propane motors, and electric-powered systems is a big plus. Proficient with diagnostic tools and repair equipment. Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Solid communication skills for internal and customer-facing interactions.
