Dental Treatment Coordinator Penrod Dental Care Penrod Dental Care in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688 Hours are Monday
  • Friday 10am
  • 7pm with one Saturday per month 8am
  • 4pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our dental office. The Treatment Coordinator plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient service and ensuring the smooth operation of the office. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental office setting, possess strong organizational skills, experience with dental treatment coordination and have a thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations.
Duties:
  • Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Dentrix or similar software
  • Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
  • Assist with treatment plan coordination, explaining procedures, costs, and financing options to patients
  • Coordinate referrals to specialists or other dental facilities as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health record systems
  • Assist with general office duties such as answering phones, filing paperwork, and managing supplies
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in medical administrative support is a plus
  • Previous experience working in a dental or medical office setting preferred
  • Knowledge of dental procedures is highly desirable
  • Proficient in using electronic health record systems (e.g., Dentrix)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
