Job Description

Electrical Technician Spiretek International 8300 Tewantin Drive, Houston, TX 77061 Prioritize and coordinate the installation, maintenance, and repair of company-operated primary and secondary voltage electrical systems to ensure that they are performing safely, efficiently, and reliably. Evaluate and correct electrical system issues at upstream and midstream facilities, as well as well sites to ensure the continuity of critical operations. Verifies/inspects work for completeness and to ensure it was done to the right specifications. Generates work orders and/or closes work orders as needed. Promotes and provides a safe environment and direction for the department personnel. Follows and supports all policies at all times. Perform or coordinate inspections and if necessary, upgrade existing electrified sites to ensure electrical safety/code compliance, beginning with sites that have the most financial impact to the company. Ensures all overhead pole lines are inspected within assigned area and coordinates repairs as required. Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent. Must have 2 years electrical experience. 1-year supervisory experience preferred. Experience with 3 face motors. Experience with commercial electricity (Preferred). Good organizational skills, especially with regard to logistical planning of large work projects. Ability to diagnose electrical system problems and implement timely solutions. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Rotating shift - Pay Rate$15.00 - $30.00 per hour (Temp. to Perm). EEOC compliant.
