Full Job Description SUMMARY:
The Operations Specialist is responsible for the administration of electronic banking and cash management services. This position also supports the Loan Operations department through duties including loan accounting as well as file and record maintenance. The Operations Specialist provides superior customer service to internal and external clients while conducting operational tasks. This is an onsite position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Electronic Banking and Cash Management (45% - Primarily Afternoons) Partners with the Cash Management Officer, Retail Bankers, and Commercial Bankers in the successful onboarding and servicing of deposit clients Establishes, modifies, and terminates client access to electronic banking services including but not limited to Business Online Banking, ACH, RDC, Positive Pay, and Wire Set up. Communicates holiday closures to Cash Management clients Schedules and performs training with clients either over the phone, in person, or through remote sessions Orders scanners, initiates tokens, and performs testing of user access and processes Coordinates system issues with appropriate departments and opens cases with Fiserv for further troubleshooting when necessary Conducts monthly audit reviews, 90-day and annual audits of cash management client files and services Scans online enrollment forms into Director Maintains knowledge of past and current bank products and services while staying updated on emerging technologies, services, and operational trends Establishes and maintains procedures for all electronic banking and cash management services Partners with Deposit Operations Officer to provide adequate information, education, and training to other departments within the Bank to ensure a collaborative and informative environment Loan Operations (45% - Primarily Mornings) Reconciles general ledger accounts Processes payments for loan participations, including the creation of wires in the Wire Transfer System Processes payments, advances, and adjustments on loans Processes paid notes and collateral releases Performs file maintenance on various systems Reviews title policies, lien filings, insurance, flood certifications, etc. Performs UCC searches and continuations through Capital Lien Records Performs Flood Certificate orders Prepares escrow payments for property taxes, insurance, and association dues Creates, manages, and updates ticklers within the Bank's core system, including but not limited to recorded mortgages, final title policies, lien cards, and insurance Places collateral and notes in the Bank's vault under dual control Performs collateral audits Assists management and Compliance Officer with regulatory reviews Client Service (10%) Answers incoming calls or emails to provide excellent client service regarding technical and operational questions or problems Researches and investigates complex inquiries, fraud, errors, and other issues as necessary Back-Up Duties Reviews and approves remote and mobile deposits throughout the day Partners with Loan Operations on ACH return or stop payments Serves as the backup in the oversight of manual returns, fed adjustments, reclamations, manual PIMS, and other occurrences Processes or verifies incoming and outgoing wire transfers while ensuring the use of proper procedures and the collection of applicable documentation Provides backup assistance to Operations team members as necessary

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or Equivalent Three (3) or more years of Banking experience Two (2) or more years of Deposit Operations or Cash Management experience Two (2) or more years of Loan Operations or Loan Servicing experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED
Knowledge of electronic banking products and services as well as ACH and item processing procedures and practices. Self-starter with a passion for compliance and appreciation for the rules. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including speaking, listening, and presenting, through the use of a phone and computer. Ability to listen and speak clearly and effectively to others and negotiate acceptable resolutions. Strong time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. Ability to establish and foster strong professional relationships with both employees and clients. Experience using various computer programs and systems including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite and Fiserv Premier applications.

Solid math and analytical skills Computer literacy Ability to use hands and fingers to operate a keyboard and other office productivity machinery. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds, as necessary.
