Major Areas of Responsibility Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment at the board level Troubleshoot at the component level; resolve integration issues Reconstructs or replaces defective parts as required. Adjusts mechanical parts. Perform through hole and surface soldering Reviews all engineering change notices related to the design and operation of the equipment. Aligns, adjusts, and calibrates equipment according to specifications. Tests the equipment to documented performance standards. Maintains records of repairs, calibrations, and tests on a computer database system. Supports product investigations by providing technical assistance to Production, Test, Field Service and Engineering departments. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Understand basic electrical theory, safety, and applications Experience with soldering tools and digital multimeter Knowledge of using oscilloscope is a plus Good verbal and written communication are a must Organization and good record keeping skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to travel up to 20% of the time. Education And Experience Associate degree in Physics, Electronics Technology, or similar fields; High school diploma is accepted with 1-3 years of documented previous experience as a repair technician
Other Details Schedule:
