An innovative company with proven experience in creating exciting new products that redefine what is possible in the food and beverage manufacturing industry. Position Opportunity The HR Representative serves as the point-of-contact for the Company's front line and Supervisors and will be responsible for a variety of critical functions including but not limited to, the management of employee relations issues, performance management and team member engagement. Acting as liaison to existing employees in explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Serves as subject-matter expert for all HR functional areas with particular emphasis on employee relations, compensation, employee engagement, and performance management Champion for organizational health and effective culture of cross collaboration Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention. Assist with the administration and education of employee benefits Performs administrative and record keeping tasks related to staffing changes, which may include promotions, changes, separations, etc. Manage leave of absences to ensure full compliance with FMLA, State and Company policies Collaborate with all Human Resources functions (Recruiting and Training) in the interest of establishing the department's goals and initiatives Other Human Resources Responsibilities Maintain tracking and dashboard for reporting on regular basis Manage sensitive information with utmost discretion Maintain confidentiality in all matters Compete all required Company Training Comply with all safety and human resources policies, practices and procedures Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Education/Training/Certifications:
High school degree required. Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational psychology, or education preferred. HR Certification preferred.
Related Experience:
2-3+ years of experience in technical recruiting in the food manufacturing industry preferred.
Knowledge/Skills Experience:
Knowledge of human resources best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other human resources technologies. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proven ability to build strong relationships with candidates, internal and external partners. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Familiarity with food manufacturing or related industries a plus. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred
Travel Requirements:
Travel within company locations, less than 5% travel for training and/or company engagement events.
