You will assist Vitalant's donor care team as a lead in creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donor volunteers at one of our local donation centers. Ensure the comfort and information of blood donors during phlebotomy process. Lead continuous improvement by fostering teamwork, empowering staff and facilitating effective communication. Assist the Manager or Supervisor in providing direction and/or supervision of Donor Care Technicians, providing input for employee performance evaluations. High School Diploma or GED Active driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to travel as required Successful Completion of supervisory training program within six months Two years phlebotomy experience preferred Able to lift 40lbs About Us Vitalant is one of the nation's largest nonprofit blood and biotherapies healthcare organizations, providing hospitals and patients across the U.S. a safe blood supply, specialized laboratory services, transfusion medicine expertise and world-renowned research.
