- HVAC Team Manager is in the Department of General Services and will manage, lead, and supervise the HVAC team to include Metro and contracted staff.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent and ten (10) years of experience in HVAC, including five (5) years of increasingly responsible supervisory/lead experience and/or project management experience. No Substitution Candidate must receive and maintain a passing status from the Metro Nashville Police Department background check.LICENSES REQUIRED
Valid Driver License EPA 608 certification Failure to meet or maintain the certification and/or license requirements shall result in disciplinary action. Candidates with accreditations earned in a foreign institute are encouraged to apply.Note:

All employees of the Metropolitan Government shall be residents of the State of Tennessee or become residents of the state within six (6) months of employment as a prerequisite to employment with the Metropolitan Government. Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Advanced knowledge and experience on chillers, Arctic chillers, boilers, air handlers, Governair RTU, heat pumps, vav boxes, heat exchangers, heat recovery units, water treatment testing and related equipment, DX controls, BAS control systems concentrated with the following preferred manufacturers: Alerton, Automated Logic, JCI Metasys, Trane, TAC-Inet Current holder of EPA Universal refrigerant certification Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Archibus, or other Integrated Workplace Management Systems We are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
