This is a hybrid role that requires some on-site work (inside our Indianapolis, Indiana office). In addition to the on-site duties, there are additional responsibilities that can be completed outside of the office, resulting in this being a hybrid role. Our Purpose is to Empower Members to Achieve Financial Success . The Loan Servicing Specialist is a resource to our valued members. They collaborate with various departments to handle any loan servicing needs including title processing, GAP claims, loan modifications, and more. As a member of the Loan Operations team, the Loan Servicing Specialist will establish a lasting impression by providing excellent member experience. You will learn how to be the expert to best serve our members: Deliver exceptional customer service to members via communications, including phone, and email. Preparing of Satisfactions and Subordinations of Mortgage. Processing of ancillary products (MBP, GAP and debt protection). Processing of title management. Imaging of all necessary documents according to record-retention guidelines. Process escrow disbursements. Record closed loan documents. You will make a difference as you live out our purpose: Process Preauthorize-transfers (PAT's). Process Skip-a-Pay requests. Handle loan payment processing. Process incoming and outgoing mailings. Complete
ARM/HELOC
rate adjustments. Complete other loan maintenance requests as needed. You will help grow the business: Process incoming Loan Servicing calls and requests in support of all mortgage and consumer loan products and services. With each request, perform the necessary account review and maintenance on the core processing system. Handle similar volume and complexity of requests as peers, with consideration/adherence to assigned timeframes and/or request sources.
Sources of such requests are:
Phone Queue Management - Ensure all SLAs are met; Internal SalesForce.com requests; Process department mail and email Inbox requests. You will continue to grow professionally: Continue to develop knowledge of industry practices, products, and professional growth. Participate in appropriate learning opportunities to maintain expertise. Maintain in-depth knowledge of all Elements products and services.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Proficient use of technology tools and possess knowledge of basic system navigation skills. Working knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to consumer and mortgage loans is preferred. 3 or more years of financial institution experience is preferred. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Ability to leverage skills, knowledge, and experience to invest in our community. Ability to foster an inclusive environment that promotes belonging. A focus on respect and excellent service to both external and internal (team) members. A proven track record of integrity with a demonstrated ability to build trust. Additional bonus compensation is earned in this role.
