About Alpha Transport:
Alpha Transport Inc. is one of the largest petroleum transporters in the Western United States. It is essential that our equipment operates safely and efficiently. We are looking for a knowledgeable, methodical, detail oriented, and safe CDL Class A driver. The driver would be responsible for delivering and unloading product to Customers while maintaining a safe work environment. Experience in the fuel industry is a plus. Average After Training Annual Salary $120,000•$140,000 Sign-on Bonus for experienced carded fuel drivers Quarterly Safety/Performance Bonus Responsibilities are, but not limited to: Ensure assigned equipment complies with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety standards. Maintain familiarity with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Handbook to ensure compliance. Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs to keep vehicles in optimal working condition. Load and unload customer products with a focus on quality control and product integrity. Ensure timely and accurate completion of delivery paperwork and submit it promptly. Schedule and coordinate vehicle maintenance with the shop foreman and dispatchers. Keep assigned vehicles clean, organized, and presentable at all times. Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment. Execute additional duties as assigned by upper management .
Requirements:
Minimum of one year of fuel driving experience High School Diploma or equivalent Valid Class A CDL with hazmat, tanker, and doubles/triples endorsements Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) TWIC Card preferred, but not required Basic knowledge of DOT and Federal Highway Regulations Basic computer skills or comfort working with a computer Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds Benefits Include Holiday Pay Bonus Program Paid time Off 401k Plan Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance HSA Account Employee Training and Development We are more than just a trucking company and take great pride in our employees. #TeamAlpha
