Job Description
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Upon receipt, verifies and completes IONEX product acceptance to the appropriate production order quality level. Will verify that shipment is in compliance with IONEX policy and procedures. Will notify any and all necessary departments of discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner so product can be released for use. 2. Performs accurate and timely repetitive inspections of incoming manufactured components, parts, and units in accordance with established methods, procedures and purchase order specifications and requirements as directed. 3. Accurately and timely performs inspections using a variety of precision instruments and testing equipment to include, but not limited to tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and scales. 4. Accurately records data from inspections, and generates written reports of findings, communicates results, including problems, issues, and unforeseen delays with supervisor and other departments, as appropriate. 5. Maintains physical and electronic material flow from receipt, through inspection and storage, to issuing. This will include the staging of all necessary materials, the return of unused product and the control of all related material documentation. Will coordinate with the Procurement and Manufacturing to ensure timely ordering and mitigate any shortages. 6. Ensure that material that is in IONEX inventory is clearly labeled, tagged and cleared for usage per IONEX policy and procedures. Inventory will be accurately stored and accessible physically and electronically per MRP. 7. Accurately and timely completes material packaging and shipping scheduling in accordance with customers requested delivery date. This will include packing slips, blueprints, procedures and quality requirements, to ensure manufacturing and delivery efforts are completed within specified schedules and deadlines. This will include the shipping materials for 3rd party fabrication and RMA materials. 8. Will participate in cycle count and physical inventory activities per IONEX policy and procedures. In conjunction with the Material Control Manager the incumbent will count, analyze and reconcile all variances. 9. Coordinates with the Manufacturing Manager and Material Control Manager to mitigate any shortages or interruption of flow of materials to manufacturing process. If shortages do occur, will expedite and coordinate the receipt, acceptance and issuance of the material within all areas of the organization 10. The incumbent will act as a liaison between Material Control, Manufacturing, Accounting, Project Management and Engineering. Will work with all above departments on communicating status on jobs and coordinating any necessary changes within manufacturing and/or MRP system. 11. Will be responsible for the electronic coordination of the movement of all materials. This will include all transfers documentation associated with any materials. 12. Responsible for initiating non-conformance reports, segregation, material control and return of all materials that have been damaged or do not meet the specifications. 13. Will coordinate with all departments for timely disposition of material physically and in MRP. 14. Performs all other duties as assigned.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES 1.

Incumbent must have efficient oral and written communication proficiency; attention to detail and ability to multi-task; a s we ll as possess strong organizational skills. Ability to research, analyze and successfully resolve a broad spectrum of issues is required. Incumbent must be a positive team player, with the ability to work under time constraints and handle multiple projects at once. Must have experience using general office equipment and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Outlook, Excel and Word. Experience with inventory management software is highly preferred. Must have experience and the ability to read and understand Blueprints is desired. The applicant must be proficient in basic math skills. Knowledge and understanding of ASTM Standards and code books preferred. Experience in Manufacturing is desired. Incumbent must have the ability to effectively work independently, as well as under direct supervision. Must be able to read, write, clearly speak and understand English.WORK STATUS

High School Graduate or equivalent is required.CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES
Valid Colorado Driver's License is required. Must be certified forklift operator or willing to become one.WORK EXPERIENCE A

Position is in a manufacturing/fabrication shop environment.Frequent physical demands include:
the ability to exercise both gross and fine motor skills with flexibility in arms, hands, legs and feet for extended periods including: standing; walking; climbing (stairs, ramps and ladders); kneeling; stooping; squatting; crawling; grasping; pinching; using hands to manipulate or feel objects, tools or controls; eye- hand coordination; extended reaching; and reaching above and below midline with ability to twist at the waist; lifting, moving or carrying equipment and supplies (up to 75 lbs.); pushing and pulling (up to 500 lbs. or more with the aid of equipment); working in high or elevated spaces; working with or around toxic chemicals, electrical/mechanical/explosive hazards, and extreme temperatures.Equipment frequently utilized includes:
drum dollies, carts, hoists, forklifts, hand trucks (both hydraulic and manual), and other large and small equipment and machinery typically found in a manufacturing/fabrication shop.Frequent requirements may include:
communication by seeing, talking, listening and writing.Occasional requirements may include:
sitting while completing paperwork. Incumbent may be scheduled to work an alternate schedule and/or overtime to accommodate essential business needs; routine travel by foot or automobile to alternate work/meeting locations may be required, possibly during inclement weather. Inside and outside environmental conditions may frequently include: exposures to hazards associated with noise, mechanical and electrical machinery, welders, hand and electrical tools, radiation, fumes, unpleasant odors, chemicals, dust, debris, and extreme hot and cold temperatures. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required and/or provided to each shop- floor employee. Steel-toed shoes and utilization of PPE is mandatory for all shop-floor employees.
