Job Description

Escrow Assistant and Community Liaison Corridor Title Johnson City, TX 78636 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Escrow Assistant and Community Liaison that is active in the Johnson City community.

This hybrid role combines the core responsibilities of an Escrow Assistant with select, initial business development duties to support the growth of a new office. The primary focus of this position (~80%) is to assist in escrow operations, while the remaining (~20%) involves supporting market expansion and client relationship initiatives.
Essential Duties:
Include the following, however other responsibilities may be assigned: Escrow Assistant Responsibilities (~80%) Coordinate and communicate with all parties in a professional and proactive manner, as directed by the VP, Lead Escrow Officer. Keeps common areas in office organized, cleaned, and stocked. Promptly greets all clients and ensures that they have a comfortable experience. Answers the phone and routes all calls appropriately, demonstrating service excellence; takes and disseminates messages for team members timely and efficiently; and assists in returning calls on behalf of team members when necessary. Performs general office duties such as processing mail, photocopying, faxing, filing, and organizing as necessary and requested. Work with the Dripping Springs Team to Process assigned escrow files and support the VP, Lead Escrow Officer with tasks including: Opening and monitoring TBD files for the Hill Country and producing and distribution Snap Sheets Reviewing and entering contract information into Ramquest. Receiving and distributing fully executed contracts. Ordering tax certificates, resale certificates, and payoffs. Distributing commitments and obtaining supporting documents. Preparing preliminary closing statements (CDs, HUDs, and cash statements).

  • Order Tax Certs/ Send to Title/ Send to PR, CG, CB, and DS (Backup)
  • Commitment Distribution to all Parties (Backup)
  • Send Overnight Packages and Snail Mail
  • Assist with Post Closing Copies
  • Assist with Scheduling Parties for Closing
  • Confirm with buyers that incoming wire is received/ Outgoing Wires
  • Approve wires (Backup)
  • Process Cancellations
  • Update RQ and Scan Cancelled File
  • Perform any other tasks requested by Escrow Teams
  • Participate as appropriate in support of Corridor Title's Value of Service to Community.
Work with the Dripping Springs Team to Fund files and complete post-closing tasks, including: Receiving funding approval from the lender. Funding files and communicating with all parties post-closing as necessary. Preparing all post-closing packages. Recording all documents within 24 hours of funding. Scanning the complete file and preparing files for the Policy Department.
  • Participate as appropriate in support of Corridor Title's Value of Service to Community. Community Liaison Responsibilities (~20%) Assist in identifying and cultivating new client relationships to increase market share and revenue.

  • with the goal of delivering on Corridor Title's local market knowledge value proposition to clients, present and future.
Support the implementation of marketing strategies, including tracking and engaging with potential clients. Monitor open order status and coordinate with the Escrow Team to ensure smooth transactions. Conduct outreach with Business Development and/or the VP, Lead Escrow Officer to new agents and real estate professionals in the Hill Country and Dripping Springs realtor community to introduce company services. Participate in industry events, property tours, and networking opportunities as available. Maintain and distribute marketing materials and promotional items.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
1-2 years of escrow, title, or related experience preferred, but not required. Experience in sales, marketing, or real estate is a plus.
