EXPERIENCE
Strongly Preferred:
Five years of experience recruiting for heavy equipment technicians within the construction and mining industry; preferably at a dealership. Experienced partnering with hiring leaders within the construction and mining industry and understanding their needs in a fast pace setting. Expert in sourcing, prescreening, and interviewing high level Technicians for Arizona and Nevada territory. If offered employment, the specific rate of pay and position grade will be determined based on applicable differentials and the candidate's level of experience and skill.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Recruiter II is responsible for a variety of activities relating to the identification, recruitment and selection of employees. The position will ensure adherence to all policies governing the employment process, and is viewed as the subject matter expert on recruiting/staffing, to client groups.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Recruits for specialized positions across the organization, through participation in/with professional organizations and affiliations, networking and cold calling. Partners with Recruiting leadership and management to support strategic business recruiting initiatives. Provides industry data to leadership and customers. Creates recruiting pipeline of specialized candidates, including a diverse pool for all areas they support. Provides training and develops interview guides and other services for those involved in the recruitment/staffing process, as requested. In partnership with Recruiting leadership, HR, and business management, plans strategies to address workforce-planning needs. Establishes procedures and methods for recruiting by studying the effect of market trends and conditions on recruitment and identifying sources of talent. Serves as a front line ambassador or Empire, to promote a positive organizational image. Identifies, establishes and represents Empire locally and nationally, through memberships in or close contact with professional and diversity organizations and associations. Coordinates recruiting process from sourcing to interviewing, through offer and on-boarding stage. Prepares and implements recruiting plans within budgetary guidelines. Interviews and assesses candidates, providing top candidates to hiring area with recommendation for hire. Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external clients and business partners. Identifies business needs, service requirements, and key issues and recommends alternate solutions. Leads and participates in special projects and task teams at the direction of leadership. Works safely at all times. Adheres to all applicable safety policies. Complies with all company policies, procedures and standards.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other duties as assigned, including events and project specific work. Works within, promotes and demonstrates corporate values.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills. Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Proven knowledge in state and federal employment laws. Excellent coaching skills. Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork. Ability to work independently. Skills in database management and record keeping. Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of recruiting work and applicant date. Ability to travel for recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule. Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Gather and analyze information skillfully. Demonstrated resourcefulness and initiative Must have acceptable attendance to meet all company standards and requirements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Minimum of 6 years of experience in recruiting, preferably supporting both corporate and field locations Must have 2-4 years experience as an in-house recruiter. Bachelor's degree preferred (HR, communications, business, or similar). Proof of current valid driver's license. Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
