Class Location:
Lisbon, CT Compensation:
$42 - $43/hour Are you a detail-oriented and self-motivated technician with a passion for maintaining and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems? This is your opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills will be put to the test! As an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the electrical and instrumentation equipment of a leading waste management and energy recovery facility. You'll ensure smooth operations by installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment while adhering to safety procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
Performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibration on electrical systems and instrumentation Monitoring and maintaining facility equipment to ensure optimal performance Completing work orders and requisitions for necessary repairs Responding to emergency repairs during off-hours to minimize downtime Identifying areas for continuous improvement Traveling to other facilities when required
Key Qualifications :
4+ years in Industrial or Power Industry E&I Maintenance or 2+ years as a 3rd Class E&I Technician High school diploma or GED required Relevant licenses as required by regulations Military Electricians (Coast Guard/Navy Electrician Mate's) encouraged to apply Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and operate industrial equipment like forklifts and manlifts
