Software Developer 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars Newark, DE 19713 • Remote Medical Billing Company is seeking a motivated Software Developer to join the MBMS Development Team. The ideal candidate will have experience with the identified operating system and programming languages listed under preferred experience. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Systems Development and will partner with the rest of the team to make sure MBMS systems meet requirements, maintain security expectations, deliver services on time, and increase code reusability. This position is fully remote. Job duties:

Participate in all phases of software development and system management related to design, coding and thorough testing. Perform necessary software enhancements in a clean and timely manner. Provide technical support related to software issues. Must be able to question and process end user descriptions and translate that into technical requirements for working code. Make recommendations to management for software and system improvements. Maintain and ensure up time of billing server, reporting database, web inquiry tools, etc. Work on special projects, initiatives and lead as needed. Respect the confidential nature of this position. Perform other job-related duties as required.

Education and Experience:

Degree in Computer Science or related field, preferred 5+ years relevant experience Healthcare/Medical experience, preferred

Preferred Experience:

Experience in Universe or other Pick operating system. Experience with Pick Basic programming language . Experience with Red Hat Linux operating system . Experience with x12 EDI, HL7 and other file formatting standards . Experience leading a team/projects helpful but not required. SQL scripting skills with experience handling large datasets. Cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) PowerBI Experience leading a team/projects.
