Automotive Service Advisor/Tech Tuffy Auto Services Center Cincinnati, OH 45249 Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor/Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while effectively communicating their automotive needs. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair processes and the ability to advise customers on necessary services, ensuring their vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will also have experience in preforming automotive repairs in addition. Duties Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs. Utilize mechanical knowledge to provide accurate recommendations for repairs and maintenance, including brake repair, oil changes, tire service, and alignments. Prepare detailed estimates for auto body repair and other automotive services. Communicate effectively with technicians regarding customer requests and vehicle issues. Maintain clear and thorough documentation of customer interactions and service recommendations. Follow up with customers regarding service completion and satisfaction. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in automotive repair. Requirements Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair processes. Familiarity with brake repair, alignments, oil changes, tire service, air brakes, auto body repair, and auto estimating is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with clients. Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers who may not have a mechanical background. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in automotive technology or related fields are a plus. Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar role is preferred.
