Role:
We're seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Sprinkler Fitter with 5+ years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sprinkler system installation and maintenance, safety protocols, and compliance standards, particularly NFPA-13.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform all phases of commercial sprinkler work related to new construction, existing buildings, equipment repair, and system modifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical documentation, and schematics. Install risers, mains, branch lines; perform layout, prep, and system troubleshooting. Classify and troubleshoot wet, dry, and pre-action systems. Operate tools such as threading machines, roll groovers, drills, pipe wrenches, and test pumps. Ensure worksite safety, including lock-out/tag-out compliance and use of appropriate PPE. Collaborate with foreman and team to ensure high-quality service and efficient workflow. Maintain code compliance and adhere to OSHA and company-specific safety standards.
Qualifications:
5+ years of commercial sprinkler experience (Required) Knowledge of NFPA-13 code and fire protection systems Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, work at heights, and in various weather conditions Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation OSHA 30 certification (preferred) High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required) Why Join Us?
