Required Qualification:

High chool diploma, GED, or equivalent AND baic knowledge of computer hardware and component or IT upport (e.g. military, networking, help dek or related field) OR equivalent experience. Ability to work 12-hour hift, including hift aignment during non-tandard buine hour that may include evening, nighttime, weekend and/or holiday.

Reponibilitie Datacenter Operation Receive guidance and uperviion to develop an undertanding of tandard procee and procedure for preparing, intalling, performing diagnotic, troublehooting, replacing, and/or decommiioning IT datacenter technology(ie) and equipment. Develop and acquire a fundamental undertanding of the function of, and interaction between cabling infratructure, network, erver, and torage equipment. Review Proce Change Notification (PCN) and develop an undertanding of the impact to work execution and awarene to change within their area of work and/or the work of other. Ak quetion when they do not have required information and may provide feedback on change to procee to experienced technician and/or direct-line management. Complie with Data Center buine unit policie, procedure, and deadline with guidance from experienced technician and/or direct-line management. Ecalate iue related to compliance or operational aurance activitie to direct-line management. Complete aigned ticket efficiently and in alignment with relevant Key Performance Indicator (KPI) per tak type with guidance from experienced technician. Seek guidance from more experienced technician on difficult or complex ticket. Service Delivery Develop an undertanding of effective execution order trategy(ie) for aigned tak with aitance from experienced technician or direct-line management. Prepare, tage, et up, and perform baic tartup and hutdown for hardware (e.g., rack, hard drive, witche) according to pecific written intruction provided via checklit, guide, tandard procee, email, guidance from other technician, and/or direction from management. May perform tak in tandem with other technician to comply with procedure and afety requirement. Learn about pot-execution verification of grounding, taging, labeling, and cabling to align with all afety protocol, deployment tandard, and planned Network Deign Template (NDT). Learn about error in deployment tandard or Network Deign Template (NDT) and ecalate to relevant technician or pecialit to coordinate correction a needed. Perform baic diagnotic and troublehooting with guidance from experienced technician and/or via tandard procedure to identify the caue() of technical iue and replace faulty component in network, torage, or erver equipment with zero-to-minimal cutomer and/or buine diruption. Develop awarene of condition, circumtance, and cenario which may reflect ignificant cutomer or buine impact within the Data Center environment. Follow procedure to immediately communicate, report, and ecalate data center technical or afety related incident to direct-line management. May participate in bridge call to provide detail on incident tatu and execute on-ite follow-up action a directed if neceary. Directly perform decommiion, imple change (e.g., memory upgrade, OS rebuild) and refrehe of infratructure cabling, network, torage, and erver equipment, following tandard procedure whilt eeking clarification and guidance from more experienced technician a needed. Procee data-bearing device (DBD) for detruction or confirm any-and-all uch device (e.g. hard-drive, olid-tate drive, flah card, etc.) contained within network, torage, or erver equipment ha been identified for eradication or detruction with guidance. Managing Service Ecalate and/or eek guidance from experienced technician or direct-line management regarding client interaction. Maintain an awarene of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) through reporting dahboard, ytem, for peronal monthly performance dicuion a needed. Develop an undertanding of cro-functional Data Center procee to upport partnerhip with internal and external takeholder. Complete required training aligned to job focu area and workload (i.e., Break fix, Deployment, Simple Change, Decommiion, IT Critical Environment) in a timely manner per direct-line management aignment(). Oberve more experienced technician to gain hand-on experience and relevant on-the-job training (OJT). May complete additional or upplemental training to obtain or maintain relevant indutry or technical certification. Datacenter Work Environment Participate in daily afety briefing. Complete required Environmental & Health Safety (EHS) training, complie with afety procedure (e.g., equipment ue, lifting, electrical hazard, ladder/rolling tair ue), complete required Tak Hazard Analyi (THA), and ue appropriate equipment and Peronal Protective Equipment (PPE) for aigned tak. Adhere to and promote a culture of afety, taking proactive action to alert other of afety concern, near-mie, and/or incident. Participate in the regular cadence of proactive afety obervation reporting procee and ytem. Complete required ecurity and data management training while complying with ecurity and data management procedure/policie with guidance from other technician. May ecort third party vendor or IT upport on-premie at data center or network ite. Appropriately take action and report phyical ecurity acce concern and/or incident to direct-line management or etablihed reporting method.
