13-Feb-2025 Facilities Electrician - 2nd Shift Rotary and Mission Systems New York 686532BR Basic Qualifications Candidate must have a Journeyman status within the electrical trade. Candidate must have electrical experience working in an industrial /ercial environment. Candidate must have and maintain a valid driver license. Candidate must be able to lift 30 lbs. Candidate be be able to operate variety of hand tools and power tools. Candidate must be able to operate single person/scissors lift. U.S Citizenship Required This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government security clearance at the Secret level. Job Code/Title R13022:

Facilities Trades Job Description Perform all facility maintenance and facility support functions including electrical maintenance and installation. Work as a member of a high performance, customer- oriented, proactive team. Maintain accurate records. Install, test, and maintain heavy duty and high power electrical system including distribution and substation equipment. Maintain and troubleshoot large capacity building HVAC system and electrical system, etc. Repair construct, install, troubleshoot and maintain routine electrical system and equipment. Cut, threads , bends couples, and strap conduit. Cuts wire and conduit to length. install, repair and or replaces boxes, light bulbs, plugs, sockets, light fuses and extension cords. Disassembles motors, generators and other equipment in preparation for repair. Troubleshoot for safety an efficiency. Uses blueprints, drawings, layout, or other specifications, and electrical hand tools and voltage -or-amperage measuring recording devices.

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
