Full Stack Engineer (Remote) Full Stack Engineer (Remote) Cognizant's Digital Engineering We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with experience in Spring Boot Microservices and Java. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Medicare and Medicaid Claims. The candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of high-quality software solutions ensuring they meet the needs of our clients and the company.

Location:

Phoenix, Arizona (AZ), (Remote) •Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future•Responsibilities Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance, scalable, and secure software systems using Java, Spring Boot, RestAPIs, Kafka, and Python. Write clean, efficient, and testable code, ensuring proper unit, integration, and functional test coverage. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Product, UX, QA, and Operations—to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives. Ensure the reliability of RestAPIs and microservices, optimizing for performance and scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively, taking ownership of tasks until completion. Continuously improve development processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance team productivity. Qualifications Experience in Java, Spring Boot, Python and React. Proficiency building and integrating RestAPIs. Experience with Kafka for real-time data streaming and event processing. Solid understanding of Python for automation, tooling, or complementary services. Proven success in performing thorough code reviews, ensuring adequate test coverage, and crafting robust unit, integration, and functional tests. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to various collaborators. Strong sense of accountability, taking initiative, and driving tasks to resolution.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until April 9th, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $55K - $91K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
