We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team of technicians. Starting Wage:
$34.00 - $40.00 an hour. Weekly Pay! Affordable, full coverage medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, Short-term and long term disability. 401(k) & industry leading company match contribute 6% get 4% Company vehicle with recovery machine, vacuum pump, ladders etc. to take home every night Paid time off & increases based on experience and immediate eligibility for up to 20 days based on industry experience and paid holidays Responsibilities for the Commercial HVAC Refrigeration Service Technician position includes: Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems, including refrigeration units, walk-in freezers, walk-in coolers, reach-in freezers/coolers, rack systems and ice machines. Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure proper functioning of commercial refrigeration systems, identifying and resolving any issues or malfunctions. Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems in commercial refrigeration systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements of faulty components. Calibrate and adjust commercial refrigeration systems to optimize performance, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability. Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, lubricating parts, and replacing filters to prolong the lifespan of refrigeration equipment. Collaborate with clients to assess their refrigeration needs, provide expert advice, and recommend appropriate solutions and upgrades. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used, services rendered, and time spent on each task. Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations while handling refrigerants and working with electrical systems. Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in commercial refrigeration systems to continuously improve skills and knowledge. Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians, sharing expertise, and providing guidance when needed. Requirements for the Commercial HVAC Refrigeration Service Technician position includes: : High school diploma or equivalent is required; Refrigeration certification preferred. Minimum of 4-6 years proven experience as an Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician. Commercial HVAC experience is a plus.. Previous experience ranging from walk-in freezers, walk-in coolers, reach-in freezers/coolers, small self contained and large split parallel racks systems is a must. Strong knowledge of air conditioning, heating systems, components, and principles preferred. Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing commercial refrigeration issues. EPA Type II license is required. OSHA 30 license preferred. Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record. EPA Type II certification preferred.
