The Scheduler is responsible for upholding the production schedule and all of its facets. This includes daily, weekly, monthly, and annual stocking programs for our manufacturing team.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develop production schedule to meet customer demands, drive material requirements, and proactively set levels of manufacturing output. Communicate effectively across multiple departments to effectively coordinate operations between, sales, quality, and manufacturing. Work with account specialists to ensure deliveries meet customers' expectations. Coordinate with sourcing specialists to ensure appropriate raw material is in stock. Support project managers and sales in accurately presenting lead times to customers. Support team on material shortages, OSF opportunities, and delivery of materials. Identify and react to material plans that do not meet customer requirements. Work with distribution team on incoming/outgoing material and coordinating the cut schedule. Expedite cut orders for project engineers and CNC programmers. Provide effective timely scheduling to the master schedule including accurate cycle times, shop capacity concerns, lead times and status to schedules. Utilize strong negotiation skills with the ability to reason and influence at all levels Coordinate the efforts of cross functional groups and across shifts to resolve bottlenecks, part shortages, machine maintenance, manpower issues, and shop capacity. Work directly with management on capacity concerns and future investments to support capacity. Maintain accurate traceability for all records created during the manufacturing process. Proactively measure the current production schedule and identify problem areas for the team. Must have strong communication and presentation skills, in order to collaborate with operations, sales, customer service, and management, to meet expectations for the team. Participate in production meetings. Must be able to interact in-person with coworkers and the public. Must be able to handle high stress situations. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (required) 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment (required) Experience with supply chain processes and procedures including manufacturing planning, demand, and replenishments (preferred)SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Familiar with Microsoft Office applicationsPHYSICAL DEMANDS
