Permitting Specialist/ERP Job Scheduler Income Power

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate and timely recording of project details. Enter data into ERP system from various source documents within set time frames. Utilize ERP system to create specific entries to document the scope of a project, including but not limited to materials, subcontractors, purchasing needs, and all items needed for invoicing accuracy. Monitor project progress and make ERP adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion. Coordinate with internal and external departments to ensure complete data collection and to assist in permit approval. Obtain, manage, and coordinate various permits, licenses, and utility requirements for electrical project readiness. Research state and local regulations for permit requirements. Prepare and submit all necessary documentation for permits and licenses. Analyze permit applications for accuracy and completeness, gathering any missing data when necessary. Maintain records of approved and active permits to ensure validity is kept up to date.
COMPETENCIES/REQUIRED SKILLS
Proven experience in a similar role working with permit acquisition and job scheduling within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) computer system (e.g. EPICOR). Ability to use a computer, data entry systems, and Microsoft Office Applications. Knowledge of local, state, and federal permitting requirements and procedures. Familiarity with electrical terms, materials, and plans a plus. Strong organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Associate's degree preferred but not required. High School diploma with 2 years of experience in a similar role required.
