Monday & Friday 5:30am-2:00pm; and Saturday & Sunday5:30am-5:30pm

Pay Rate:

$39.84

General Summary:

This position will be responsible for troubleshooting, training,repair and maintenance of electrical and PLC components ofproduction lines, facilities, equipment, power systems, etc. fastpaced, high volume manufacturing and distribution facility.

Essential Functions:

Responsible at all times for promoting a safety culture andawareness within their area. Support and adhere to all plant safety policies and proceduresat all times. Follow blue prints and specifications to install electricalwires, cables and conduit systems. Provide technical support including troubleshooting, machinesrepairs, PLC's, adjustments, elimination of bottlenecks, machineset-up, changeover execution and running equipment as needed. Perform all maintenance activities such as predictive andpreventative maintenance, work orders and improvement projects viathe CMMS system. Coordinate and perform all maintenance activities (PM, workorders, improvement projects, etc.) to effectively balancemaintenance and production needs. Root cause analysis to troubleshoot and eliminate primarycauses of downtime, etc. to improve OEE (overall equipmenteffectiveness). Facilities maintenance including maintenance and repair of allbuilding and ground support systems Active participation in training and certification program asneeded in technical aspects of machinery to include set-ups,changeovers, troubleshooting, etc. Ensures all quality and food safety practices are followed atall times in support of the VMS (vitamin and mineral supplement)business. Assist with the training and certification program asneeded. All other related duties as required andassigned.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or GED required 3-5 years proven industrial electrician experience in afast-paced lean manufacturing environment required; CPG (consumerpackaged goods) industry a plus. Knowledge of industrial controls, sub-stations, motor controlcenters, power distribution panels, electrical starters, variablefrequency drives and programmable controllers required. Allen-Bradley SLC experience and three-phase electricalknowledge required. Strong mechanical aptitude including knowledge of hydraulic,pneumatic and PLC controls, shop math skills and strongtroubleshooting ability required Strong computer skills required; previous experience with SAPor CMMS preferred.
