RESPONSIBILITIES

Lay out, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems. Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Cut, thread pipe to specifications Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications Attach pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipe lines Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading Lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment following blueprints Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications Select pipe sizes and types according to specifications Cut and bore holes in structures prior to pipe installation Follow company safety policies Demonstrate proper use of Personal Protective Equipment. Piping knowledge of VAV's and Air Handling units. Sweat and Solder Copper. Be willing to learn and take direction. Must have reliable transportation. Possess general knowledge of hand tools and their use. Mechanical ability. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Be able to identify material for piping copper. Commercial HVAC experience is a plus.
