Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm Fri 8am-12pmWork Environment:
This position is based at our Austin, TX headquarters, located at 5929 Balcones Dr #200, Austin, TX 78731 working with both onsite and dispersed Aspire staff in various locations. There is an option to work remotely one day per week based on business needs and manager approval. Key Responsibilities Assist with full cycle recruitment as needed: Create & update job descriptions, post job ads, vet resumes, send out assessments, conduct phone screens, source candidates, conduct reference checks & draft job offers Coordinate the new hire onboarding process including: Pre-boarding tasks and communication with incoming employees Training plan preparation New hire orientations I-9 processing Adding to all necessary systems Manage employee files, upkeep and administration Create job change paperwork as needed (promotions, transfers, schedule changes, terminations etc.) Process employee changes in systems Administrative tasks for employee terminations (removing from systems, communication, etc.) Help manage and improve all People systems & software including: Paylocity (HRIS), WorkTango (Recognition platform), Lessonly (LMS), Daily Drop (company intranet), Pingboard (Org Chart) and Pinpoint (ATS) Event coordination and prep: Company events, interviews, team building, acquisition announcements, etc. Support compliance needs of the HR department including: Auditing benefit bills and assisting with benefit system administration Assisting with annual audits (401k, EEO-1, Workers Comp, PTO setup, etc.) Managing the ACA dashboard in Paylocity Assisting with leave coordination efforts (FMLA, non-FMLA, Colorado FAMLI leave) Assist with payroll processing and post-payroll administrative tasks Assist with tasks related to annual projects such as open enrollment, performance reviews & merit increases Manage workers' compensation claims and coordinate occupational medicine visits for needlestick injuries Assist with employment verification inquiries Provide support with implementation, administration, processes & systems that support Aspire in the endeavor to enhance culture Collaborate with the HR team to support new and existing HR and recruiting initiatives All other duties, tasks and projects as assigned (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions) Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Competencies Strong attention to detail and processes Ability to maintain a high level of employee confidentiality Ability to work independently Ability to prioritize and manage multiple workflows and responsibilities Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills (verbal and written) Must be able to work closely and well with others in a team environment Required education and experience One year of experience working with HR related activities/software (HRIS, Performance Management, LMS, etc.) Proficiency with Google suite and Microsoft Office products, particularly excel Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred education and experience Experience using an HRIS or Applicant tracking system, Paylocity preferred Proven administrative background and/or HR certification/degree Ability to interact comfortably with employees at every level of the organization Preferred experience working with and understanding pertinent employment laws Job Benefits Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Generous Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays 1 Half-Day a Week 401(k) + Generous Employer Match Life InsuranceHALF DAYS
