Job Description

Equipment Maintenance Technician (Electrical and PLC) 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Rock Hill, SC 29730 The Equipment Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our machinery and equipment. This position involves performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs to keep operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and PLCs. Direct Hire Salary $30
  • $35 per hour plus overtime Great work schedule: 4
  • 12hour Days (Monday
  • Thursday) Night Shift (7pm
  • 7am) Duties Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
Perform mechanical and electrical skills that include mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC's, and Ladder Logic. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical breakdowns on machines, tools, and equipment. Perform root cause analysis, as needed, to increase serviceability and reliability of equipment to increase performance.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematic, and electrical drawings as well as work orders to perform required maintenance, and services.
Possess knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controls), Allen-Bradley, Siemens Controls, and drive components. Possess Knowledge of machinery, hydraulic, electrical components, and 24VDC/480VAC electrical systems. Requirements High School Diploma or GED, College or technical degree is encouraged but not required. Appropriate certifications; from a vocational school or military or completion of apprenticeship. 1-2 years' experience in a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment as an Industrial Maintenance Technician. Experience with wiring, troubleshooting and repairing 480v electrical systems Troubleshoot ladder logic with ability to edit program when needed. Preferred experience with AB and Siemens.
