Equipment Technician - Mini Excavator Prep, Delivery & Support Bull Equipment LLC Hutto, TX 78634 • Hybrid work About the Role Bull Equipment is a fast-growing construction equipment company launching U.S. operations in Hutto, TX. We're seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Technician to manage the full lifecycle of our mini excavators—from container offloading and inspection to hydraulic system checks, mechanical prep, and remote technical support . This is a ground-floor opportunity to join an ambitious brand and take on a critical, hands-on and customer-facing role.

Key Responsibilities:

On-Site Equipment Preparation Safely offload mini excavators from shipping containers using a forklift or suitable equipment. Conduct visual and functional inspections of machines on arrival, with emphasis on hydraulic system components: hoses, fittings, cylinders, and fluid levels. Complete light mechanical and hydraulic repairs : battery hookups, torque checks, hydraulic line tightening, and troubleshooting fluid leaks or pressure issues. Install hydraulic accessories (buckets, augers) and ensure correct operation before delivery. Prepare and detail machines for delivery, including hydraulic pressure testing and function checks. Coordinate with delivery/logistics team on outbound machine scheduling. Remote Technical Support (Phone/Virtual) Provide basic hydraulic system support to customers by phone or video (e.g., startup, pressure settings, basic leaks). Assist with remote diagnostics and operational walk-throughs , guiding customers through safe use of hydraulic functions like boom, arm, and bucket operation. Escalate factory-level issues appropriately and track customer service cases.

What We're Looking For Required:

Solid knowledge of hydraulic systems , including hoses, pumps, cylinders, fittings, and pressure testing. Experience operating forklifts and working with small construction or agricultural machinery. Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic troubleshooting on diesel engines, hydraulics, and control systems. Comfortable communicating clearly with customers by phone, video, or email. Physically able to work in a warehouse and handle equipment components. Strong attention to detail and safety-first mindset.

Preferred:

Prior experience in equipment rental, heavy machinery service, or field repair. Familiarity with hydraulic schematics or pressure flow charts. Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain). Spanish/English bilingual a plus (not required).
