We have serviced Germantown and the surrounding areas with their property, casualty, and financial security needs for two decades. Here's just a bit of what you'd do: As an Insurance Sales Professional , your primary responsibility will be focused on cultivating new business and maintaining positive relationships with prospective clients. Our objective is to deliver outstanding service and information on Allstate product offerings for our prospective insurance policyholders. This is a dynamic role that will include a broad range of tasks including offering appropriate advice, guidance, and quotes on personal, automobile, homeowners, umbrella, and other Allstate insurance products as well as life insurance to new customer prospects. You will utilize your relationship development, analytical skills, expertise in the suite of Allstate products, and overall depth of knowledge in insurance industry to enhance the customer experience, develop a robust pipeline, and convert client prospects to active Allstate policy holders.
Responsibilities:
Develop new business prospects by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing campaigns, and leads database. No cold calling. Achieve individual sales production goals through outbound phone calls and proactive sales activities. Consistently build an active prospect pipeline to achieve sales targets. Foster strong relationships with existing customers and maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty. Understand prospective customer needs and utilize deep product expertise to guide customers on product offerings that align accordingly. Conduct needs-based customer policy reviews, and counsel on updating coverage in the best interests of the customer. Prepare insurance quotes for customer prospects. Develop best practices for client interactions and consistently pursue improvements around the overall client experience. Professionally and responsively address customer complaints and requests, escalating to leadership when necessary. Engage with customers to maximize value and create strategies to grow the client base. Be accountable for account and policy accuracy by ensuring that all customer information as well as items received by carriers are accurate and current including coverage schedules, policies, endorsements, and audits. Manage client portfolios. Engage in proactive team efforts to achieve agency goals. Demonstrate willingness to learn new functions when the need arises.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills and the ability to apply these skills in both verbal and written form when interacting with various clients, company personnel, and team members. Confident self-starter with the ability to work both independently and contribute to team objectives. Ability to build rapport with prospective customers quickly and maintain a positive and professional demeanor. Brand awareness with a strong aptitude for converting client prospects to active policy holders. Knowledge of property casualty coverages and the ability to apply that knowledge in the performance of the job duties. High level of organizational ability; able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and maintain a system of record keeping. Highly analytical and detail orientated with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Intermediate MS Office skills required. Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, and spreadsheets. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to shift gears and multi-task. Action-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma required 1+ year commercial or property & casualty insurance experience preferred 2+ years of sales experience, ideally within the insurance industry Exceptional organizational skills WI Property and Casualty license preferred. If not currently licensed, must receive a license within 20 days of offer acceptance. Must have license prior to start date. The cost will be reimbursed after 120 days of active employment.
