We are looking for teammates who are: Knowledgeable in programming languages, component design, relational databases, and personal computersKnowledgeable in Microsoft development environment, including VB, C#, and the .Net environmentAble to produce work on a schedule under general supervisionAble to manage multiple priorities at onceEager to communicate effectively and exercise patience with customers, peers, vendors, and managementReady to demonstrate initiative in problem solvingWhat you will do: As a Developer you will modify, test, and support the applications within the
SCDOR DORWAY
system, utilizing approved development tools and processes, while also assisting lead technical consultants.

Primary job duties include: Programing new or existing code using approved design documents.

Serving as a supporting developer on projects as needed.

Developing information systems utilizing
SCODR DORWAY
environments and tools.

Writing testing documentation that meets set guidelines and best practices.

Assisting in the training of other employees, while also serving as a technical consultant.

Interviewing customers to determine business requirements.

Preparing documentation that ensures compliance with
SCDOR DORWAY
development policies, standards, and operations.

Assisting in the maintenance and production of
SCDOR DORWAY
site documentation and guides.

Monitoring
SCDOR DORWAY
applications for issues and performance concerns.

Serving on an all-call rotation to ensure 24x7 production support for assigned systems.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Either:
A high school diploma and work experience in the modification and maintenance of system programs, the design and development of system software, or the testing and debugging of system software ORAn associate's degree in a related field ORA bachelor's degree in a related field Academic degrees must be from an accredited institution of higher learning.
Additional Requirements:
Flexibility to work extra hours outside of normal working hours if required

Training:
Developers will participate in a training program to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to successfully perform their job.
Hours:
Flexible hours may be available from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday - Friday (37.5 hours per week).
Telework schedule:
This position may be eligible to work remotely up to two days per week.
