Position Overview:
As a GM Automotive Technician at Ron Tonkin Chevrolet, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing General Motors vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and resolving complex automotive issues, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of automotive professionals and work in a well-equipped and modern facility. GM Automotive Technician Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on GM vehicles, including engine diagnostics, brake systems, electrical components, and more. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and provide accurate cost estimates for repairs. Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair complex automotive problems. Keep up-to-date with GM training and certifications to stay informed about the latest technologies and repair techniques. Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair timelines and provide excellent customer service.
