Shifts:

24/48 ABC shift, (7 am -- 7 am)City of Port Clinton 

• Licensures/Certifications:

• Must possess High School Diploma or equivalentMust possess at minimum state of Ohio EMT-Basic certification. Must possess an American Heart Association BLS Provider Card or equivalentMust possess current and valid state of Ohio Driver's LicenseMust complete Firefighter 1 certification or higher within the first year of employment
• Must complete Background check and physical exam for condition of employment 

• Responsibilities:

• (examples and not to be all-inclusive)Provide care and transport for emergent and non-emergent patients.

Safely operate emergency vehicles. Participates in chores and training. Follow Ohio EMS Scope of Practice within issued medical protocols. Maintain HIPAA compliance. Respond to fire and medical emergencies. Operate and maintain fire and medical equipment. Maintain working relationships with law enforcement and receiving hospitals and facilities. Conduct self with professional behavior both on scene and at the station. Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
