PDW Performance Driven Workforce is now hiring Full Time Experienced Automotive Mechanics. Mechanics will modify cars and trucks in a prototype environment while working off repair orders, performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. Mechanics will perform independent project tasks, as well as collaborate with customers and team members. This Full Time Experienced Automotive Technician position offers an AM Day shift plus Overtime as needed and based in Fort Myers, FL. Candidates meeting the requirements for this position below are strongly encouraged to apply.Shift:
AM Day shift: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (Monday - Friday + OT & weekends as needed)Pay:
$36.50/hrEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain vehicle functional condition by working off repair orders or leader instructions and conducting inspections Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replace parts and components Read, interpret, and follow service procedures Maintain vehicle records by entering notes, service, and repair orders Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairsRequirements:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent Minimum 4 years' automotive mechanic experience Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and a good driving record Minimum 2 years' driving experience in the U.S. Must have own tools with rolling toolbox Must have good organizational skills Must have good attention to detail Must possess the skills to read, comprehend, and execute written procedures Must have reliable attendance and the willingness to work overtime/weekendsPreferred:
National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification(s) strongly preferred but not required Certificate in Automotive Technology or related State Mechanic Certification(s) Retirees and veterans are welcomeBenefits:
