Ensure continuous availability of all technology assets for the assigned location by providing technical support of District owned computer hardware, software, networks, and servers, concentrating in customer concerns, needs, issues training and guidance.ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE A
standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program. A minimum of four (4) years of experience in supporting computer systems related to digital environment. OR An earned associates degree from an accredited A minimum of two (2) years of experience in supporting computer systems related to digital environment. AND Proficiency required in the following: Basic hardware and software troubleshooting Knowledge of Windows, Mac, and iOS operating systems Installing and maintaining software applications Managing and maintaining computer network systems including Virtual and Local Area Networks Supporting enterprise applications used in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, and electronic mail, cloud storage and other related applications. The Technology Support Specialist I & II jobs are designated as one job for the purpose of job progression when the employee has achieved an evaluation indicating that his/her job performance has met or exceeded the expectations of the job. The Technology Support Specialist I shall be promoted to Technology Support Specialist II after two (2) years of experience in the department/school.SIGNIFICANT
