MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
who is
COMPETENT
in performing preventive maintenance and repairs on its welding equipment, fabrication shop machinery, heavy equipment, plus other work.
Primary Tasks:
Preventive maintenance on all company welding equipment, CNC plasma table, shop machinery, power tools, heavy equipment, and other company assets. Perform repairs , especially electrical repairs, whenever required, on all the above. Perform and coordinate activities in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment. Participate in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial and electrical machinery. Perform field work , whenever required, on customer machinery and equipment, conveyor systems, and other plant shutdown work. Work involves electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, gas, diesel and other system.
Equipment and machinery include:
Dozers, excavators, diesel and gasoline vehicles, and trailers.
Shop machinery include:
Press brakes, plate rolls, welding machines, band saws, drill presses, overhead cranes, grinders, etc. Field work may include machinery repairs, installation, etc.
Requirements:
5-10 years experience in a maintenance and repairs role, preferably with degree or certification in a related field. High school degree required, associate degree or above preferred in a related field. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to lift 50 lbs., and follow safety rules. Reside in the southeast Texas region. Possess a valid driver license, pass drug and background checks.
