Columbus, OH 43215 • Hybrid work Job Overview CCS is looking for a Desktop/Network Technician to join our team and provide technical support for our customers in Columbus OH and surrounding cities, providing operations and maintenance support in an 8am to 5pm Mon/ Fri (and some off hours depending on client needs) onsite and offsite customer environment (Mostly Offsite). The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring new systems, and providing general maintenance and repair services. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, an ability to work independently, and experience with a variety of operating systems. They also will provide quality support to user community, employing a high degree of customer service and timeliness. Resolve problems with a high degree of patience and problem management techniques. Convey technical issues in laymen's terms so the customer can understand. Responsibilities Solve problems in different settings, onsite and offsite Installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting Microsoft products and third-party software installation, configuration and system administration Troubleshoot and resolve issues that result from employee laptop/desktop computers and peripherals. Ensure customer issues/tickets are resolved in a timely manner. Assist end users with packaged software. Software installations and support. Provide hardware support to end users (laptop, desktop, related accessories, printers, copiers, telephones, etc). Collaborate, document and share processes and information to improve the team toward providing outstanding customer support Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues on desktop computers. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and other software. Provide technical support to end users. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot network issues. Perform system maintenance tasks such as virus scans, disk cleanups, etc. Software Support Windows 8-11 Office 2013, 2016, 2019, O/M365 Windows 2016, 2019, 2022 Server (basic understanding) Antivirus programs (McAfee, Microsoft Defender, etc). Ticketing System Experience RMM Software Experience Patch Management Active Directory (User addition, deletion, etc). M365 Mailbox additon. Experience Proven experience in a technical support or desktop support role. Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments and various operating systems. Familiarity with help desk operations and ticketing systems. Experience in software troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently. Understanding of network administration principles, including DNS management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other common software tools. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Preferred Experience (not necessary but is a bonus to have) A+, MCP, Network+ Command knowledge of networking Firewall and router setup (Cisco, SonicWALL, Meraki, etc)Routers:
