Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or bachelor's in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.
• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, office administration, or job costing (preferred)
• A love of working with people and a high level of professional integrity Skills (Required) :
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Computer proficiency
• QuickBooks, Excel, MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat
• Creative problem-solving and the ability to follow through independently
• Strong communication skills

• Experience with CRM or project management software
• Spanish language skills are a bonus, but not required
• Understanding of job costing, construction billing, or vendor management

Job Description:

At Rhoden Roofing, we believe in 'ownership' of job functions: that ultimate accountability for different elements of our business and customer experience is 'owned' by exactly one person on our team. As the AR/AP Specialist, you will be responsible for: Accounts Payable Processing (50%)

• Process external, internal invoices and ACH payments with accuracy
• Ensure integrity of and process outgoing payments and cash flow.
• Request W9s and other documentation to ensure authorized payments.
• Work to resolve vendor statement or Invoice issues promptly and courteously.
• Process weekly payment for subcontractors Accounts Receivable Processing (25%)
• Receive and record all cash, checks, credit card and ACH payments.
• Daily deposits (in house).
• Record customer receivables.
• Generate bi-weekly statements for all customers and organizations.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers in tracking and collecting past due accounts. Other Financial Responsibilities (25%)
• Record Inventory Journal Entries
• Record/handle Financing Payments
• Filing
• Assist the Office Coordinator with mail
• Partially responsible for incoming phone calls
• Invoicing and Firewall preparation for payroll
• Data Entry for all expenses in bank accounts and credit cards
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Finance.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $45,000
• $50,000 base salary
