Tractor Trailer Driver -2nd shift 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars 3751 Jennings Road, Cleveland, OH 44109 Chemical Solvents Inc. has thrived for over 50 years in the Cleveland area providing commodity materials and blending services to a wide variety of industries including, but not limited to, construction, manufacturing, and specialty chemicals. We are currently seeking an experienced Tractor Trailer Driver to join our team. The Tractor Trailer Driver, under the direction of the Production Supervisor, will transport bulk tankers and van trailers around the site to complete stages in the order fulfillment process while adhering to company, DOT, and OSHA safety policies and procedures as well as adhere to all regulatory requirements. This position is an essential part of the team and is relied upon to drive cultural focus on safety and delivering quality materials for customer demand. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Transport bulk tankers and van trailers around the site to complete stages in the order fulfillment process. Utilize production reports with order specific notes and batch/repack information. Complete shift reports and production completion paperwork. Load and unload van trailers, bulk tanker trailers, railcars, etc. Utilize RF scanners to track and locate materials within the warehouse. Maintain a clean work environment. Complete required Company and required regulatory agency training. Ensure personal compliance with Company, EPA, DOT, OSHA, and all other required safety policies and procedures. All other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Qualities Required High School Diploma or GED. 6+ months of tractor trailer driving experience. CDL Class A. Ability to operate a manual transmission truck (preferred). 6+ months of forklift experience (electric and/or LP). Utilization of high-reach standup forklifts, drum clamps, and other various equipment. General mechanical aptitude. Ability to formulate plans to complete shift workloads efficiently. Lift/carry 50 lbs. for 100 ft. Be exposed to year-round natural elements for extended periods of time. Scale heights exceeding 15+ ft. without issue. Pass the Company wellness exam. Ensure compliance with DOT regulations on Pre-trip/Post Trip inspections. Understand basic OSHA and other regulatory requirements. Proficiency with the Microsoft software suite; e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. Self-motivated, with excellent communication and teamwork skills. Experience with warehouse management software/hardware. Experience with ERP software (Datacor C/S).
