JOB DESCRIPTION
Join the Regions Hospital Patient Accounting team as a Revenue Support Specialist! This position provides behind the scenes support and activities to the Patient Accounting Department. This role is integral in providing office support for the hospital's patient accounting team and is responsible for managing outside correspondence with insurance companies. The Revenue Support Specialist provides financial activity support for the patient accounting department including: Researching and reporting issues with copy, fax, tube system, etc. Rebilling patient accounts for submit for rebill as appropriate. Document scanning and mail distribution. Receptionist and other front desk duties.Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Three years of medical office experience OR a combination of post-secondary education and medical office experience to equal four years.Preferred Qualifications:
Back end medical billing office experience.Additional Information:
This is a union 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) day shift position working in Saint Paul, MN. The full salary range for this position is $21.74-$32.62 per hour, based on experience and internal equity. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and is eligible for benefits.
