Job Description:
A large healthcare facility is looking to hire a Post-Award Grants Analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain research-based grant work following the award of grants. Key duties include reviewing budgets, monitoring grant activities and compliance, assisting Principal Investigators (PIs) with budget management and proposal support, and handling any ad hoc requests related to funding changes (including journal entries and month-end processes). The ideal candidate should have a background in expert control requirements, federal grant requirements, extensive experience with grant proposals, and knowledge of uniform guidance. This role involves setting up projects from the time of receiving an award (including OTPS and personnel costs, regulatory) to the close-out of the research project. A large healthcare system is seeking to hire a Pre-Award Grants Analyst to support research activities for multiple departments within the hospital. Responsibilities include proposal development, compliance review prior to submission, budget preparation, liaising with sponsors, and providing backend training and support to researchers and staff on grant application processes and requirements. The Pre-Award Grants Analyst will serve as the right-hand person to all associated PIs within the research studies.
