Talent Acquisition Specialist Req #11838 Archbold, OH 43502, USA Job Description Posted Sunday, January 19, 2025 at 10:00 PM Join Sauder as a Talent Acquisition Specialist and play a pivotal role in our recruiting and onboarding processes. You'll collaborate with hiring managers, advocate for internal talent, and ensure a smooth experience for candidates. From administering the internal hiring process to supporting onboarding activities, your efforts will help shape our workforce and drive continuous improvement. This position features a hybrid arrangement, requiring onsite presence at our Archbold, OH office Mon to Wed, while allowing remote work on Thu and Fri.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Hourly Recruiting Administers Position Opportunity Process. Advocates for internal talent and provides coaching. Collaborates with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled. Conducts intake meetings for new jobs, prepares job postings. Develops new postings in accordance with job descriptions and manager input. Guides Hiring Manager through process. Liaises with team and primarily Talent Attraction & Sourcing Specialist to seek creative staffing solutions when needed. Supports hiring events. Assists candidates with applying and employees with logging in/changing information in our HR system. May receive calls from lobby. Backup to monitoring Jobs email. Calls candidates to assess skills, interests, and career goals. Ensures eligibility. Coordinates rehire eligibility decision. Schedules interviews. Coordinates selection of applicants for job openings. Collects and reviews feedback. Ensures equality in selection. Facilitates offer. Dispositions candidates. Manages recruiting activities in HRIS and adheres to recruiting processes and policies. Assists in reporting on hiring processes and statuses. Onboarding Supports onboarding activities. Schedules background check and physical for hourly candidates. Stays in contact with candidate from offer to start. Manages badge process—make badges, send or ship badges, destroy badges. Assists in facilitating onboarding. Ensures New Hire paperwork is submitted and complete. Audit employee file. Other Supports weekly reporting of agency temp hours and reconciliation of invoicing. Checks in on HR and Corporate lobbies i.e. updated forms, working kiosks, accurate signage. HRIS audits for Minors, Direct Deposit, Missing Badge, New Hire, Missing Start, Address Participates in special projects/recruiting initiatives and makes suggestions and ideas for continuous improvement. Backups up other team members. Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree preferred; Associate's Degree or High School diploma with some relevant experience will be considered Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish Proficient in Microsoft Office, must be comfortable working with recruiting system Friendly demeanor, empathetic Strong verbal and written communication skills, advanced listening skills Critical thinker who can use data to make decisions and represent own perspective Flexible Detail oriented Ability to work toward deadlines while managing multiple priorities and tasks Agile learner
PAY SUMMARY
Expected offer range: $45,000 - $60,000/year. The actual salary will be based on factors such as relevant experience and skills. The max salary listed is not the top of the salary band.
