Ensures quality control is in place and work is of the highest standard Duties and Responsibilities Directly answers to the Crew leader, Foreman and Superintendent for the execution of work. May lead worker in absence of crew chief. Collects and posts completed job data including, but not limited to, labor and equipment time, and materials ordered, used, stockpiled or returned. Knowing roadway operations procedures and processing of roadway materials. Responsible for the proper upkeep, care and storage of all crew-assigned equipment. Wears personal protective equipment (PPE) as deemed necessary for certain locations. May be required to work outside of normal business hours. Assists in other areas as needed.
