PCS and CPT 4 codes which provides information for billing and statistical analysis consistent with the medical record. This will be a remote position and travel will be involved to work in-house 2 times per month. This position reports directly to the HIM Director. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Credentialing by either the Registered Health Info, Registered Health Info Administrator, and/or a Certified Coding Specialist Program is required. Any applicable programs must be approved by the American HIM Assoc. Experience Experience in assignment of DRG's and sequencing of diagnoses in accordance with the Uniform Hospital Discharge Data Set is required.
