This position is responsible for responding to the general health needs and wellness of persons served. To assure responsive and quality care, the LPN or RN will provide support to staff in the implementation of physician's orders and provision of appropriate health care. The LPN or RN may delegate specific nursing tasks (as defined in the Nurse Practice Act) to non-medical staff from completion of training and demonstration of competency. All duties listed below are essential functions of the position.", '\nRequirements for the License Practical Nurse (LPN)Role :
', '\nMust have High School Diploma, GED, or Work-Keys Bronze Certificate', '\nMust have a valid LPN license in the state of Kansas', '\nPrefer one (1) year experience working in the medical field and an additional year of experience with persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities.', '\nBe at least 18 years old', "\nValid Driver's License for a minimum of two with good driving history.", '\nPass drug and alcohol screenings\n', 'Pass criminal background checks', '\nMust be available for 2-4 weeks of PAID training, M-F 8:30am-5:00pm.', '\nASL (American Sign Language) preferred', '\nThis is not a complete job description.
