Job Title:
Experienced Auto Technician Job Overview Right Way Automotive is seeking an experienced Auto Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to our customers. The Auto Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Performing diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues and make necessary repairs. Conducting routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements. Inspecting vehicle computer and electronic systems to identify issues and troubleshoot malfunctions. Repairing or replacing malfunctioning components, parts, and systems (e.g., engines, transmissions, brakes, exhausts). Conducting thorough vehicle inspections and test drives to ensure proper functioning and identify potential problems. Using specialized tools and equipment to accurately diagnose vehicle issues. Providing accurate cost estimates for repairs and communicating them to customers. Explaining repair procedures and findings to customers in a clear and understandable manner. Following industry safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Keeping up-to-date with industry advancements and participating in training programs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as an Auto Technician with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience. Strong knowledge of automotive systems, mechanics, and repairs. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Ability to accurately interpret and follow technical manuals and diagrams. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. ASE certifications are strongly preferred.
